Quest’anno il Natale è arrivato ancora più velocemente degli altri anni. Con la missione in Cambogia terminata così a ridosso del periodo natalizio, lo scorso 11 dicembre, il tempo è davvero volato. / This year Christmas came even faster than other years. With the mission in Cambodia ending so close to the Christmas season last December 11, the time really flew by.

Un altro meraviglioso anno si avvia al termine e questo è il tempo per la famiglia. La famiglia qui in Italia. La famiglia in Cambogia. Tanti affetti che si incrociano e che si rinforzano l’un l’altro. / Another wonderful year is coming to an end, and this is the time for family. The family here in Italy. The family in Cambodia. So many affections crossing and strengthening each other.

Quest’anno mi porto ancor più che altre volte la Cambogia nel cuore. E le mie costole e le botte che mi porto appresso dopo l’incidente in moto fatto sulla National Road Kep-Kampot lo scorso 6 dicembre, mi rendono a loro modo la Cambogia ancor più presente che in passato. / This year I carry Cambodia in my heart even more than other times. And my ribs and the black and blues I carry after the motorcycle accident I had on the National Road Kep-Kampot last December 6, make Cambodia even more present to me in their own way than in previous times.

Tanti sorrisi, tanti abbracci, tanto affetto sia dai piccoli che dai grandi, mi fanno sentire davvero bene dentro. Un senso di serenità che probabilmente non provavo da tempo. Come ho scritto e ripetuto diverse volte, questa del 2023 è stata per me la più bella missione delle 8 fatte a Domnak Chamboak dalla partenza del progetto nel 2013. / So many smiles, so many hugs, so much affection from both the little ones and the big ones, it makes me feel really good inside. A sense of serenity that I probably haven’t felt in a long time. As I have written and repeated several times, this one in 2023 was for me the best mission of the 8 done in Domnak Chamboak since the project started in 2013.
