Un po’ in ritardo a causa dei vari inconvenienti nel frattempo avvenuti al villaggio, ma anche quest’anno siamo arrivati alle giornate della distribuzione dei regali del Capodanno Khmer. / A little late due to the various incidents in the meantime at the village, but this year we again arrived at the Khmer New Year gift distribution days.

Il Capodanno Khmer si festeggia nel mese di aprile, e in Cambogia è un periodo tipico per fare dei regali ai bambini/e. E’ sempre un gran lavoro per il nostro staff, che tuttavia affronta con tanto entusiasmo questo evento che diventa una grande festa per tutti. / Khmer New Year is celebrated in April, and in Cambodia it is a typical time to give gifts to children. It is always a lot of work for our staff, but they approach this event with so much enthusiasm and it always becomes a great celebration for everyone.

Gran parte dei nostri bambini del programma Sostegno a Distanza (SAD) riceve regali da parte dei loro sostenitori. Ma i nostri donatori SAD non si dimenticano dei bambini che non hanno ancora uno sponsor e destinano parte delle loro donazioni per questi bambini. E’ davvero un momento di grande condivisione / Most of our children in the Distant Adoption Program (DAP) receive gifts from their sponsors. But our DAP donors do not forget about the children who do not yet have a sponsor and allocate part of their donations for these children. It is truly a time of great sharing.
